Welcome to the Heritage Carp Fishing gravel pit, a lake built entirely around anglers who love fishing from the boat. 🎣
This is technical, immersive fishing, where every trip out in the boat lets you explore the spots and build your strategy.
An ideal playground for carp anglers who like to search, watch and get close to the fish.

Dug out forty years ago and then left to itself, the Heritage Carp Fishing pit has had the time to become a real lake: margins, drop-offs, plateaux, weed beds and fine patches of gravel.
The venue is fully fenced and gated. Apart from the anglers on the water, nobody comes in. That is part of what you come for.
Open to fishing since September 2022, strictly no-kill and strictly for carp.

Since the lake opened, every fish caught has been PIT-tagged and recorded. You are handed a reader when you arrive: at the weighing you know whether you are holding a fish we already know, when it was last caught and at what weight. And there are still fish nobody has read yet.
Recording your catches is compulsory, photographs of both flanks included.
The pegs
Three double pegs.
We chose to build only three — for the comfort of the fish as much as your own. Every peg is reachable by car, the car stays on the peg, and each has its own enclosed shelter.

Peg 1
A double peg at the entrance of the lake, technical and varied — down to 3.50 m deep. The most demanding peg on the venue.

Peg 2
A double peg in the middle of the lake, versatile and comfortable — the reference point when the venue is booked exclusively.

Peg 3
A double peg at the far end of the lake, a wild setting of sunken trees and lilies — for anglers who like fishing tight to the snags.

Equipment provided on the pegsThe no-kill gear
The no-kill gear
is on the peg.
A landing net, unhooking mat, floating retainer, weigh sling and fish care treatment are provided on every peg. Using them is compulsory.
